Does

Is
there any difference between the DVD and the online version of the
video? The video itself is
exactly the same. In fact, we created the "Instant
Access" online version directly from the DVD. The DVD version
will often include bonuses that are not available in PDF, and
therefore not available with the online version.
Do
you have a video of my exact printer model?
We show four common types of HP printers in the video, as examples
of how to locate and replace common maintenance related parts. It
would be nearly impossible to have video tutorials of every type
of printer. The primary purpose of the video training is to show
you how to use the service manual so that you can quickly and
easily find and use the step-by-step instructions for your exact
printer models.
Do
you accept orders from outside the United States? Yes,
we have shipped orders to several countries around the world.
However, the video and accompanying material is in the English
language. To get the most out of this training you will need to
speak and read English so that you can understand the video and
service manuals.
Do
you have service manuals for old printers? We
have several hundred printer service manuals on hand, many of them
are for older printers. If we don't have the manual that you are
looking for we may be able to tell you where you can find it.
Please Contact
Us to ask about the service manual that you need to find.
Can
I still get parts for old printers?
In most cases, you can still get parts for old printers. Our
Reference Guide contains listings of parts sources that will help
you find the part you need to repair or maintain your printer.
Does
this training prepare me for HP or Lexmark certification?
The My Tech Guru Basic Laser Printer Maintenance &
Repair Training creates a foundation for understanding
printer maintenance and repair. One of the principle factors to
certification is knowing how to read and find information in a
service manual. Finding and extracting the necessary information
from a service manual is the primary goal of the Basic Laser
Printer Maintenance & Repair Training. We will also
provide you with the additional information you need to decide
about certification, and the links to the manufacturer's
certification programs.
I
just received my video training package and cannot find the
certification information. Where is it?
The certification information and a few other pieces of
information have been removed from the Reference Guide and added
to the email series, which begins when you purchase the training
package. We have found that it is more productive to concentrate
on learning the service manual layout, and working on a printer or
two, initially, than it is to concentrate on things that should be
a few weeks down the road. Concentrate on learning the basics as
your first priority. Please Contact
Us if you have any questions.
Does
the training video teach more than just the basic maintenance
information? The video itself
shows how to find and replace the maintenance components on four
common types of HP office printers. We show these as examples. The
primary goal of the Basic Laser Printer Maintenance &
Repair Training is to show you how to find the
step-by-step instructions to nearly any printer repair. When you
master the service manual, you will know how to find and use the
step-by-step instructions that will allow you to perform
intermediate and complex repairs on nearly any printer model.
However, since we begin with the basics, you may choose to only
use the basics to help maintain your office printers.
